2013-2014 YASI

Leung Ping Kwan (1949-2013), A Retrospective, encompassing a series of multi-disciplinary events, was held between 10 - 28 January 2014 to celebrate the many journeys of Yasi’s life, his contributions to literature, art and culture, and to arouse public interest in Hong Kong literary community. The events gather more than seventy artists, friends, students, and university colleagues in an effort to build up enthusiasm for Hong Kong Literature. The Retrospective includes two exhibitions running in parallel at Hong Kong Central Library and Hong Kong Fringe Club; a multi-lingual poetry reading evening; literary talks, and creative poetry workshops at schools.

In the year 17 October - 2 November 2014, the Retrospective exhibition was toured to Taipei as part of the Hong Kong Week. A few literary talk exchanges were also organised in synergy with the exhibition.
